Our drinks
What is bubble tea?
Bubble tea (boba) is a chilled tea, coffee or fruit drink served with chewy tapioca pearls or popping boba, sipped through a wide straw. It started in Taiwan in the 1980s. Read our first-timer's guide.
What is the difference between tapioca pearls and popping boba?
Tapioca pearls are soft and chewy, made from tapioca starch, and go best with milk teas and coffees. Popping boba have a thin skin that bursts with fruity juice, and go best with fruit teas.
Which drink should I try first?
First-timers love our signature Taro Bubble Tea, the Classic Bubble Tea, or a light fruit tea such as Jamun or Passion Fruit.
Can I ask for less sweet or a stronger coffee?
Our drinks come with a perfectly balanced, normal sweetness. If you'd like it less sweet, extra sweet or a stronger coffee, just mention it in your order note or tell us at the counter.
Do your coffee drinks contain caffeine?
Yes. Our bubble coffees are made with coffee and contain caffeine. For a caffeine-free choice, try our Cold Chocolate Bubble or a fruit tea.
Is bubble tea suitable for children?
Yes, with adult supervision. For very young children we recommend skipping the tapioca pearls. Honeydew, Red Velvet and Cold Chocolate are family favourites.
